Though each is in some way
present here, the swans are
unaware of Arnold Böcklin, or
Rachmaninoff, or the more
contemporary William Carlos
Williams, even though all three
overlap in time, in linked rings
just like the ones the swans are
swimming in as they contend in
a sea which love partly encloses.
